Pamper Routine

I do love a good pamper ever 1-2 weeks, whether it’s a 5 minute one or a full blown out routine, they always help me feel better and less stressed! As I’ve got a lot of pressure and stress going on with my exams, I like to save some time every couple of days to fully detox and destress myself. So today, I’m sharing my full blown out pamper routine, enjoy!

First of all I begin to run a bath as this takes a little time so it can be running while I’m getting on with something else. I also pick a bath product, usually a lush bath bomb. Today I chose Intergalactic and I loved it! Then I pop on my dressing gown so I’m comfy and warm.

Next I remove my makeup and cleanse my face with my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I love this stuff as it removes my makeup so well and makes my skin feel really fresh and clean. Next I apply a face mask; the one I’m loving at the moment is Lush ‘Don’t Look at Me’ exfoliating face mask. I especially love this as it’s exfoliating when applying it and taking it off, you can scrub your face to get ride of any dead skin cells. This mask has a rather funny smell but I like it. Also, the colour is fantastic, it’s a bright blue so it makes me look really funny!

To set the mood I light a couple candles, some non-scented tea lights and a scented one, usually yankee candle. This makes my bath look so inviting and cosy!

I set up my iPad on the side of the bath or window cill so and I pop on some youtube videos or I catch on on TV programs as this gives me something to do while I’m in the bath.

In the bath, I like to pamper my skin. First of all, I take my Soap and Glory ‘Breakfast Scrub’ body scrub to exfoliate my skin and leave it feeling super smooth. Then I take some body wash. I don’t use a particular one, just one that’s at hand. Today, that was my Body Shop Coconut Body wash. I love the smell of this as it has that coconut scent but is really subtle with it and not overpowering. For my hair, the shampoo and conditioner I like to use are the Tigi Bed Head Resurrection Damage Level 3, in the red metallic packaging. I absolutely love Bed Head products, the make my hair feel such good quality after I have used them and they smell really good. Although they may be a little on the pricey side for general, everyday shampoo and conditioner, they are totally worth the money as they make your hair, feel and smell amazing after using them.

When I get out the bath, I like to moisturise my skin with the Soap and Glory ‘The Righteous Butter’. I really like this as it’s super moisturising but not sticky. I find that lots of moisturisers leave me feeling really sticky and gross but this sinks into my skin so well and leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft.

Next I get in my pyjamas and the ones I have been loving a wearing recently are my Jack Wills ones. There are so soft and have a beautiful pastel flower pattern on them. I was very lucky to receive them as a gift of my sister for Christmas and I couldn’t be more grateful for them as they are so comfy and warm.

After a bath, I like to just so I usually get out my MacBook and my iPad and write a blog post and watch another youtube video! That seems to be all I do! I promise it’s not!

Later on, I wonder downstairs with my mum and make us some drinks before bed. She always has a camomile tea and I usually have a green tea, I also grab a glass of water to take up. At this point I may grab a biscuit to eat when I get upstairs!

Finally after I’ve drunk my tea and eaten my biscuit I will clean my teeth, blow out the candles and hop into bed for the night, after putting a program or a video on to go to sleep to. Night!

What’s your pamper routine like? Is it any similar to mine?

Lots of Love
